RACERS are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as the Guilford Merchants Association's Membership Council. The RACER committee plays an essential role in member recruitment, communication & retention, and each RACER is charged with conveying member needs, questions & concerns to GMA staff, keeping GMA in line with our members' desires. RACERS stand for Recruit, Activate, Connect, Engage, Retain. Upon their appointment, each RACER makes a commitment to build lasting relationships with the membership, particularly new GMA members, in order to build a loyal committed membership base that will continue to support, participate & invest in GMA.
