Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson is the Deputy Director of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. He has held numerous positions in his 30-year career with GCC, including Asst. Ticket Manager, Event Manager, Event Services Manager, Booking and Marketing Manager. Johnson manages the booking and operations of more than 1,100 events annually at GCC, plus books major events in LJVM Coliseum, BB&T Field, and assists GCC clients looking for the correct size venues in the marketplace. Johnson has supervised or booked more than 10,000 events including some of the biggest events in Greensboro’s history. He has served on several community event committees including the Civil Rights Museum grand opening, past GMA Annual Dinner committees and is a 28-year veteran of the Greensboro Sports Foundation, formerly Tournament Hosts of Greensboro. Johnson earned his BS from the School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University.
