Greensboro, NC—February 15—Stearns Financial Group (SFG) is pleased to announce several exciting organizational changes at the company level.

John Thomas, CFA, CFP®, and Haleh Moddasser, CPA, were named Managing Partners, effective January 1, 2024. While this change is only now being formalized, the management of the company has been a team effort for some time.

Dennis Stearns, CFP®, ChFC, who founded Stearns Financial Group in Greensboro, NC over 30 years ago, has assumed the Chairmanship of SFG’s Board and continues advising his clients while advancing the SFG Intelligent Aging Initiative, co-leading SFG’s Business Owner Services segment, and using his extensive knowledge to assist SFG's expanded ultra-high net worth practice unit.

“Haleh and John make an exceptional team, and I have full confidence in their abilities to lead the company well into the future,” said Dennis Stearns.

Thomas has been with SFG since 2005 and is a senior wealth advisor providing financial planning and investment advisory services to his clients.
