Community Volunteer Opportunities
- The NC Folk Festival will be needing volunteers in the fall. The volunteer list not yet open, but you sign up for their email list. Visit ncfolkfestival.com for more information.
- The arts council does a biannual fundraiser during market that we are in need of volunteers. We don't actually park the cars, but duties include greeting and directing them, answering questions, etc. The staff will collect payment, but we need help keeping count and tracking cars parked. The event runs April 22 - 29, 2026. Here is the link.
